Thiagarajan Bala is the co-founder of BindusChem LLC. He received his PhD in organic chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, India. He completed his post-doctoral studies at Bar-Ilan University in Israel and at NC State University in Raleigh. He has previously worked at PharmaCore, SCYNEXIS, NIRvana Pharmaceuticals, Inspire Pharmaceuticals, ChemoGenics BioPharma and SmaBio Labs. He has more than 17 years of industrial experience ranging from hit to lead, lead optimization, preclinical development and cGMP synthesis of small molecules. He currently has 5 patents/patent applications and 25 publications.
